Ingredients

  • 1 - 800 mL can of Diced Tomatoes
  • 1 1/2 - tbsp Dried Basil
  • 2 - tbsp Margerine or Butter
  • 2 - tbsp White Vinegar
  • 3 - tbsp Brown Sugar
  • 1 - tsp Garlic Powder
  • 2 - tsp Soy Sauce
  • Fresh Ground Pepper to Taste

Prep.

  • Add all ingredients in a medium sized sauce pot.
  • Bring to a boil, stirring constantly, then lower temp to a simmer - stirring often.
  • Use a potato-masher to mash the diced tomatoes while simmering.
  • Simmer to reduce water and thinken to your desired consistency.
