- 1 - 800 mL can of Diced Tomatoes
- 1 1/2 - tbsp Dried Basil
- 2 - tbsp Margerine or Butter
- 2 - tbsp White Vinegar
- 3 - tbsp Brown Sugar
- 1 - tsp Garlic Powder
- 2 - tsp Soy Sauce
- Fresh Ground Pepper to Taste
- Add all ingredients in a medium sized sauce pot.
- Bring to a boil, stirring constantly, then lower temp to a simmer - stirring often.
- Use a potato-masher to mash the diced tomatoes while simmering.
- Simmer to reduce water and thinken to your desired consistency.
